CENOTE places players in an open-world underwater adventure. Players explore the ocean, rebuild coral reefs, and uncover the story behind a corrupted robotic antagonist. The game combines single-player exploration with asynchronous multiplayer features. Players construct habitats and restore marine life as they progress.
CENOTE also connects gameplay to real-world impact. Players can fund actual coral reef restoration through in-game purchases and direct investments. This creates a new model we call an eco-franchise, where game progress and conservation efforts reinforce each other.
