FuturLab has been developing games since 2003, growing from a two-person outfit making flash games into a team of more than 100 people. The studio is headquartered in Brighton, UK, and became remote-friendly in 2020, allowing staff to work across the UK. It is best known for the Velocity series and PowerWash Simulator, and has continued to develop titles in a similar relaxing, low-friction genre, including PowerWash Simulator 2, a mobile version, and a VR version. The studio has received industry recognition including Best UK Developer (Ukie 2025), Best Marketing Campaign (Develop:Star 2025) and Best Indie Studio (MCV/Develop, 2023 and 2024).
