Indie Fund operates as a collective of individual investors rather than a traditional publisher. Each investor independently decides whether to participate in funding individual projects and how much to invest. The fund provides flexible budgets with two-stage payments and no milestone requirements. After a game's release, developers repay the initial investment and share 25% of revenue until the investment is doubled or two years have passed, whichever comes first. If a game does not generate sufficient revenue within two years, the agreement expires and the developer retains all future revenue.
