Purple Lamp started with approximately 20 people in 2018 and has grown to over 45 staff from more than 15 countries. The studio initially took over The Guild 3, a PC-only game, but shifted focus towards multiplatform games. Since joining the THQ Nordic family in 2020, the studio has released three SpongeBob SquarePants 3D platformers and Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed across current and last-generation platforms. The studio is organized into departments for game design, programming, art, and QA.
