The studio was founded by two developers with experience from titles including Shovel Knight, Fortnite, Deltarune, and Tomb Raider, and works with legendary developers and composers from Japan who contributed to Xenoblade Chronicles, Final Fantasy, and Legend of Mana. Riyo Games operates fully remotely with a no-crunch policy and is committed to diversity and inclusion. The studio is currently developing Threads of Time, a 2.5D JRPG inspired by Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy.
